Linda has over twenty years of experience in the area of Intellectual Property Law. Since 1997, she has worked in the intellectual property section of either a law firm (including Felsman, Bradley, Vaden, Gunther, & Dillon, LLP and Bracewell & Patterson LLP) or a major corporation (Chevron Phillips Chemical Co.). Linda now provides support to our attorneys in all aspects of their practice, but with particular emphasis on patent and trademark matters. She also has considerable experience in dealing with intellectual property laws and procedures, governmental offices, and practitioners throughout the world. Her responsibilities are uniquely global, regularly working with associates (and clients) in almost every country and jurisdiction throughout the world. Linda is responsible for drafting and filing legal documents for the U.S., PCT and foreign patent, trademark, and copyright applications through issuance, registration, and maintenance. She works directly with foreign associates and offices during each stage of patent prosecution and has acquired considerable insight into the procedures and nuances of various foreign patent systems. Linda’s other projects may include computerized patent, trademark, and miscellaneous searches, legal research, and litigation support. Linda interfaces with clients and foreign associates on a daily basis and responds to inquiries on such matters as status of clients’ intellectual property portfolios, legal disputes, and patent and trademark office procedures. Linda received a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Houston in 2005.
